22-09-2022, Thursday evening the ODYS (1980, 34 tbp, Fairplay Towage Polska) left Gdansk with newbuilding FAIRPLAY-37 on tow towards Gdynia, the transport was assisted by the SŁOŃ (1975, 10 tbp, WUZ Gdansk). The FAIRPLAY-37 is built for Fairplay Towage Polska at the Safe Shipyard in Gdansk, it is a Damen Shoalbuster 2711 ICE and will be used in the construction of Polish Offshore Wind Farms. The tug will be able to operate on Baltic waters 365 days a year and her low draught will allow her to enter all Polish ports, including the smaller ones. The FAIRPLAY-37 has a total installed power of 3750 hp which gives her a bollard pull of 45 tonnes.
