High spec drilling rig Borr Ran moved to Great Yarmouth
Offshore Marine Contractors (OMC) assisted Borr Drilling to relocate the high spec MODU BORR RAN from Sheerness to the port of Great Yarmouth, both located in the United Kingdom.
The 3-legged jack-up rig was maneuvered out of the port of Sheerness in the afternoon of the 18th of May by the FAIRPLAY-31, EN AVANT 10 and MULTRATUG 19.
Transit to Sheerness and the tight harbour entry in Great Yarmouth was effectively and safely completed, with the Borr Ran alongside the quay in Great Yarmouth in the early hours of the 20th of May.
OMC Towmasters offshore managed the rig move in close cooperation with the Borr Drilling crew on board the Ran.
Photo coverage of the operation has been provided by the crew on board FAIRPLAY-31.
