After successfully completing a campaign at the Leman D production platform on the United Kingdoms Continental Shelf, the Seafox 4 self-elevating rig is being towed to the Trawlerkade in IJmuiden.
The 92 nautical mile relocation of the jack up and crane support unit has been co-ordinated and executed by OMC in close co-operation with it’s owners Seafox.
Departing in the afternoon of April 4th, the Seafox 1 towed by the Fairplay 35 (104 tbp) and ASD tug Brent (83 tbp) will arrive at Ijmuiden Pilot Station 05-04 16:00.
Passing the Ijmuiden breakwaters will be shortly afterwards, after which the unit will be pinned for reconfiguring the tugs for the entry into the Vissershaven.
The accommodation and crane support jack up rig is expected to be at the Trawlerkade around 19:00, assisted by Port Towage Amsterdam for manoeuvring the six-legged unit within the Vissershaven.
The high-standard Seafox 4 is to undergo maintenance works in Ijmuiden for preparation of the next project in May 2020.
