After successfully completing a campaign at the West Sole Alpha production platform, the Seafox 1 self-elevating accommodation and maintenance rig is being towed to the Damen Verolme Shipyard in Rotterdam.
The 130 nautical mile relocation of the jack up departing from Perenco UK’s production platform has been co-ordinated and executed by OMC in close co-operation with it’s owners Seafox.
Departing in the early hours of November 20th, the Seafox 1 towed by the Pegasus (101 tbp), Bever (70 tbp) and ASD tug Ginger (83 tbp) will arrive at Maas Entrance around 18:00 on Thursday 22/11.
The accommodation and crane support jack up rig is expected to be at the Botlek Entrance around 22:30, where Boluda Towage will provide assistance in positioning the rig at Damen Verolme.
The high-standard Seafox 1 is to undergo minor maintenance works at the yard in preparation of future contracts.
