26-09-2018, Wednesday the former Kotug-Smit tugs BRUGGE and GENT left Terneuzen with destination Kaliningrad. The two tugs are on their way to their new owner North Alliance LLC. Another russian company, MoreServis, bought recently the tugs ZP CONDON and ZP CHALONE, also former Kotug-Smit tugs.
The BRUGGE (Imo: 8603004) was delivered in 1988 to the URS from the yard “NV Scheepswerf van Rupelmonde” at Rupelmonde with yard number 457. She has as dimensions: Length 33,51m., Beam 10,50m., draft 4,75m. Two 8 cylinder Deutz diesels with an output of 3534 hp and two Aquamasters. Bollard pull; 45 tonnes ahead and 38 tonnes astern. She is also equipped with an extensive Fifi system.
The GENT (Imo: 8409305) was delivered in 1985 to the URS from the yard “NV Scheepswerf van Rupelmonde” at Rupelmonde with yard number 455. She has as dimensions: Length 33,10m., Beam 9,64m., draft 4,60m. Two 8 cylinder Deutz diesels with an output of 3370 hp and two Aquamasters. Bollard pull; 40 tonnes ahead and 37 tonnes astern.
The BRUGGE is renamed into PROTEI (ПРОТЕЙ) and the GENT into GESPER (ГЕСПЕР).
