CRÈME DE LA CRÈME OF TUG INDUSTRY TO GATHER IN ROTTERDAM NEXT WEEK
The crème de la crème of the international tug business will gather in Rotterdam next week for the Tugnology ’17 technical conference at the World Trade Centre.
The event on 23-24 May will bring together top-level industry leaders, decision-makers and technical experts to take an in-depth look at the latest advances in our industry.
More than 400 people, representing 34 countries, have signed up to attend the event, which is organised by The ABR Company Ltd, publisher of International Tug & OSV, and concentrates in detail on tugs and tugs alone. Garth Manson, managing director of The ABR Company, said: “We’re really excited about this year’s event.
The standard of the papers being presented is extremely high. During the two days of the conference a total of 15 papers will be presented, each of them covering important ground in a thought-provoking and innovative way.”
This year, for the first time, the conference will include a forum session, chaired by Robert Allan of Vancouver-based naval architects Robert Allan Ltd, during which a panel of industry leaders will discuss the challenges of tug safety.
The table top exhibition which accompanies the conference will see 55 companies showcase their business, expertise and latest products.
The event also provides an unrivalled opportunity for networking with top-level decision-makers, be they old friends or new contacts.
