After successfully completing Well Intervention Works on Perenco’s Ravenspurn ST3 production platform, 45 nautical mile northeast of Grimsby, Seafox’s jack up accommodation unit Seafox 2 has been mobilised to the Irish Sea.
The 725 nautical mile wet-tow of the jack up is being co-ordinated and executed by OMC in close co-operation with it’s owners Seafox BV.
The Seafox 2 was being towed by the AHTS BB Troll (165t BP) and AHT Viking (70t BP).
Port assistance to enter the port of Holyhead was provided by the multicat Salt Island.
After a smooth and uninterrupted efficient tow, the rigmove was safely executed with the jack up entering Holyhead the 7th of April.
After a preparation period in Holyhead, the Seafox 2 will provide support works for the installation of the Walney Offshore Windfarm on behalf of Dong Energy in the Irish Sea.
