Jack Up rig Seafox 4 departing IJmuiden
After successfully completing a maintenance campaign and crane overhaul at the port of IJmuiden, the 6-legged jack-up rig Seafox 4 self-elevating rig is planned to depart the Trawlerkade in Ijmuiden Monday 18th of May at 14:00.
Offshore Marine Contractors (OMC) will manage, in co-operation with owners Seafox BV and operators Shell International, the move of the crane and accommodation support rig from Ijmuiden to the offshore production platform K/8-FA-2.
The Seafox 4 will be manoeuvred out of the Vissershaven by the Brent (83 tbp) and Ginger (83 tbp) with assistance of Port Towage Amsterdam.
Reconfiguring to the seagoing tug spread will be done at the Fortput, where Unterweser Reederei’s AHT Bremen Fighter (104 tbp) will connect for the transit to the K/8-FA-2 platform.
The rigmove, anchor handling operations and close tolerance positioning at the K/8-FA-2 platform will be managed by the OMC Towmaster on board the Seafox 4, in close cooperation with the Seafox BV crew on board the rig.
